Welcome in for Bride and groom parties. Both groups will be taken to their separate accommodations where they will be greeted by our staff. You will have the option of dinning in at your accommodations or we can make dinner reservations at local restaurant.

Enjoy a private boat outing for both groups or a private pool party where you will be taken care of by of staff chef, waiter, and bartender. Later in the evening enjoy a delicious dinner and then onto your unforgettable bachelor and bachelorette party event.

Transfers to and from your wedding may also be arranged for your guests in air-conditioned vans or coaches, subject to final numbers. Full or partial catering may be arranged for wedding receptions in Barbados, including elegant Cocktails and Champagne with Canapés, casual Beach BBQ’s, or formal, 5 course, White Glove affairs featuring personalized Caribbean wedding menus designed just for you, possibly by your very own Private Chef! Island Bars showcasing Rum Cocktails, to full Premium Bars may be stocked or serviced as desired, with a full complement of trained Staff offering service with a smile, and Signature Cocktails to welcome guests. Marriage Requirements
Getting married at any of our vacation destinations could not be any simpler, as there is no minimum stay or residency requirement.
All marriages arranged by Weddings… beyond your imagination are, and will be legally recognized according to the Governing Laws of the Dominican Republic, Colombia or Jamaica as well as internationally with the appropriate documentation, which we will procure on your behalf, as dictated by Law in your Country of Birth or Residence. We accompany all of our Brides and Grooms, who must appear in person, together, with the pertinent documentation to obtain the legally required Marriage License, and once all other arrangements are in place, they can tie the knot right away!
- Valid Passports
- Original or Certified copies of your Birth Certificates. (NOT mandatory but should be presented if available)
- If either party was divorced, an original Decree Absolute or a Certified Copy of the Final Judgement. NOT the Decree Nisi.
- If either party was previously married and widowed, a certified copy of the Marriage & Death Certificate in respect of the deceased spouse is required.
- If either party has had a change of name, supporting documentation as applicable by Deed Pole or Adoption papers must be supplied.
- If the bride or groom is under the age of 21 years, both parents must be present as they procure their legally require Marriage License, or evidence of parental consent is required in the form of an affidavit stamped by a Notary Public or a Solicitor.
- Persons under the age of 16 years cannot be legally married in Barbados.
- Persons between the ages of 16-18 years require Parental consent to marry. Both parents must be present with Minor(s) OR evidence of Parental consent is required in the form of an Affidavit stamped by an authorized Notary Public or a solicitor.
- Alternatively, a Judge in either Dominican Republic, Colombia or Jamaica, on application being made, may exercise their discretion to dispense with consent.
- Persons 18 years and older do not require Parental consent to marry.
- Where necessary, all documents not in English must be accompanied by a Certified Translation.
- Marriage License fees and Stamp duty are included with all Weddings arranged by Weddings… beyond your imagination!!
Weddings may be legally performed in the Dominican Republic, Colombia or Jamaica between the hours of 6am – 9:30pm, and if there is any doubt as to either person’s status in respect to the above, it may be necessary for an affidavit to be sworn in the presence of a local solicitor.
By special agreement, and prior arrangement, Couples confirming our services will benefit from the opportunity to procure their Marriage License outside of scheduled Business Hours for a supplemental fee, including weekends, and public holidays!
Additional information will be required for the Marriage Certificate, such as the full names of both the Bride and Groom’s fathers, and their respective occupations, as well as the occupations of the Bride and Groom.
Catholic Weddings
Are only performed within the Catholic Church, and all global procedures for a marriage within the Catholic Church must be followed. Thus, all couples must be interviewed by their Parish Priest, in the home Diocese of the Catholic party, and it is he who will undertake the necessary investigations, obtain a dispensation if required, and provide information about participation in a Pre-Marriage preparation program.
Your Parish Priest will forward documentation verifying that you have complied with all requirements to his Diocesan Chancery, who will in turn forward them, well in advance of your wedding date, to the Diocesan Office in either the Dominican Republic, Colombia or Jamaica to close all windows of opportunity for later disappointment.
After review of your documentation, a Catholic Priest in the Dominican Republic, Colombia or Jamaica will be authorized to perform your wedding ceremony.
We will stay in contact with the Catholic Diocese, making all necessary arrangements on island. All Church weddings are subject to the applicable location fee of the specific Church selected for your ceremony.
- The Pre Marital Enquiry must be completed and signed Bride and Groom.
- Baptismal Certificates of the Bride and Groom.
- A signed statement of Freedom to marry by the Parish Priest of the couple.
- A Certificate of Participation in a program of preparation for Marriage.
- In the case of a mixed marriage, permission to marry or dispensation from Disparity of Cult issued by the Bishop of your Diocese.
- In the event that a previous marriage was contracted by either party, a Death Certificate or a Declaration of Nullity is required.
- Testimonial Letters from the Bishop of your Diocese.
- A Record of Confirmation.
The Sacrament of Marriage may not be performed in the Catholic Church on Holy Saturday.
